Hi there! I’m Li Shuyue(李纾悦), also known as Shuaya or Pakwan.
I love dogs, broccoli and languages.

 

I’m a Chinese designer from Beijing, currently based in Milan. I have a background in visual communication design and food design.

 

My career began as a graphic designer in a design studio in Tel Aviv, Israel. Then I joined the Pepsico Design and Innovation department in China. The global pandemic inspired me to seek new adventures, leading to my work with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe as an economic affairs consultant in the field of sustainable energy and circular economy.

With over five years of experience in the FMCG industry, I currently work at Robilant in Milan. I have experience working in an in-house design team, design agencies and intergovernmental organizations, all three of which have helped me to understand the role of a designer in different fields.

Identifying innovative approaches and improved solutions to challenges motivates and drives me. I believe design is one of the most essential tools we have for communicating who we are and what we value. I aim to use design to drive positive changes moving forward.

Also, I'm an amateur carpenter and I make ​​tableware by myself. My life is filled with adventures and possibilities. In 2018, after traveling for 300 days in the world I founded my own tiny brand Shuaya's Zakka for my self-initiate design gadgets.
