Geneva, Switzerland | 2021 - present
Carbon Neutrality Toolkit was developed by the UNECE Expert Community to support policymakers to make informed decisions towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement targets. It provides a platform for developing rules, standards, and norms for systemic lifestyle and infrastructural changes.
UNECE has developed various publications on carbon neutrality including over 10 technology and policy briefs to achieve greater energy security, affordability and reach net-zero targets in the UNECE region. Collaborated with experts in different fields, I led the information design for all the communication materials for the Carbon Neutrality Toolkit.
METHODOLOGY
My approach to information visualization involves using diverse visual styles to create unique narratives, establishing clear information hierarchies in order to make complexities understandable. Effective information design enhances communication, increases engagement, aids decision-making, and promotes better understanding.
GLOBAL IMPACTS
UNECE Carbon Neutrality Toolkit, resulting in over 760 news articles and a potential outreach of 1.1 billion in 2022. 30+ Countries actively participating in carbon neutrality project implementation.
