Fauzi Azar, Nazareth, Israel
Left Tel Aviv in the afternoon, heading to the north, first time to spend shabbat at a 200-year-old Arab mansion in the heart of Nazareth. Kanefeh is never too sweet for the Middle East.

Jerash, Jordan
48 kilometers north of Amman, Jerash was one of the wealthiest and most cosmopolitan cities in the ancient Near East. Hidden for centuries, buried under the sand, it was discovered in 1806. Hiking in the huge archaeology site for few hours under the burning sun in Middle East, trying to imagine the prosperity in old times. Although Jerash is not as famous as Petra for tourists but definitely a place worth to take a visit.

First time to go hiking alone in the desert, finally arrived at the Monastery.

Wadi Musa, Jordan
Love the sunset in desert, with the sound from mosques, always reminds me of the stories of ancient Silk Road. Witness to the vicissitudes of history, peaceful and tenacious.
