Many people asked me whether it is safe to travel to Palestine alone. After traveling to West Bank for four times, I would say in most of the cities in West Bank is safe but not Gaza Stripe.
The first time for me to visit West Bank is to Bethlehem by walk. I took the bus from Damascus Gate in Jerusalem to the 300 checkpoint, and I walked all the way from the checkpoint and separating wall to the center of Bethlehem.
The map there has lots of versions, the most frequent question is are we in Israel or Palestine? Or is it Area A, B or C?
